Parents Using Social Media
Tuesday, February 9, 2010
Bravo Brasserie
Providence, RI

Panel sponsored by online parenting magazine kidoinfo.com and featuring local residents/parents/techies, including BatchBlue's own Michelle Riggen-Ransom.

Connect with other parents, readers, colleagues, and friends. Kidoinfo launches a series of networking and educational events, KidoConversations, which address a range of topics relating to how online and offline resources can benefit your life and business, as well as foster deeper community connections. The first in this series, “Parents Using Social Media,” features a panel discussion moderated by Mary-Kim Arnold, the Executive Director of the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities. The panel includes four local parents using social media in a variety of ways, some socially, others for business, and often for both. This event gives you a unique opportunity to interact with these experts in parenting and business in a question and answer discussion.  In addition, the panelists will be offering you their favorite online resources in a special handout, “Parents Guide to Social Media.”

SXSW Interactive
March 12-16 2010
Austin, Texas

The Small Business Web folks are throwing a party in Texas and you're invited!

This will be BatchBlue's third year in Austin for the SXSW interactive conference. We've learned that it's best just to head down there with a relaxed attitude, a loose plan (that you're willing to change at any minute) and pocket money for lots of caffeine. One thing we do know we'll be doing is co-sponsoring a party for the Small Business Web members and customers of our respective services. Watch our blog for updates and invites. Are you going to be in Austin? Tweet @batchblue and let us know!
