Eric Krause

Director of Engineeering, BatchBlue Software, LLC

As Lord Admiral of all things Ruby on Rails, Director of Engineeering, also managing the Batchbook API and helping to define BatchBlue's testing strategies.

A graduate of the Naval Academy, Eric spent a few years traveling with his wife seeing the world. Once he left the service, he decided to return to Newport and start a family.

Eric's first experience with BatchBlue was during a Rhode Island Ruby Group (RiRug) meeting held at their office and he's been smitten ever since. When not updating the API, Eric can be found hiding after another round of joking and light-hearted verbal abuse from his coworkers. Editor's note: he's too tall to hide! And we kid because we love!

In his free time, Eric can be found horsing around with his two children and working as an assistant coach for North Kingstown's Varsity Lacrosse Team.
