Darlene began her career as a veterinarian's assistant at an animal hospital in Connecticut, after which - having reached the pinnacle of cat herding - she decided to study government as an undergrad and then headed off to law school. She worked as a commercial real estate and corporate attorney - also somewhat like herding cats - before her daughters were born. After sleepless nights drafting legal documents and changing diapers, she retired from the stress and long hours of the legal world and happily joined the ranks of the stay-at-home mommies - herding cats, anyone? Now, she is happy to find the perfect balance at BatchBlue. Darlene handles human resources and operations to keep the business side of BatchBlue up and running smoothly so that all of our wonderful computer gurus can do what they do so well without worrying whether the health insurance is in force, if the taxes are paid or if the new lease has been signed.
