Bill Pasnau

Customer Experience, BatchBlue Software, LLC

When Bill set out to make his mark on the world his original plan was to pursue medicine. His plan was all coming together until he realized he wasn't down with 80 hour work weeks. Upon graduating Sacred Heart University in 2005, the native of Connecticut did the thing most people from his town do with a degree they no longer want: move to North Carolina. His girlfriend (now wife) was a med student in Vermont, and although he loved living in the south promised her "If we are still together when you're done with school, I'll move to wherever you need to go".

Three years later, he packed his stuff in a U-Haul and drove it 700 miles north to the East Side of Providence! He has worked as a lab technician, lifeguard, and most recently sold cell phones before finding a place on the Customer Experience Team at BatchBlue.

If he's not helping BatchBook users better understand their social CRM, you can find him house hunting with his wife, reading a book, or watching one of his many DVDs.

A Little More About Bill

Favorite tech gadget:
My Motorola Droid 1, it's not new, can't handle many of the over the air updates - but it's awesome!
What are some of your favorite small businesses?:
All of these are in Providence - East Side Pockets for their falafel/dolma combo pocket , Three Sister's Ice Cream (try the coffee Oreo), and Haruki East is hands down the best sushi I've found anywhere. Also, my little sis just became a small business owner, Miles Hill Farm if you share her passion for all things equine.
What tab or feature would you be on Batchbook and why?:
Lists and Reports. I've spent more time than my wife cares to admit building excel sheets to sort and analyze data. But that obsession sure was handy when planning our wedding!
The website you're most likely to be on when you're not on Batchbook:
Netflix, Twentytwowords.com/, Google, or sadly Facebook. I'm a bit of an addict! but I can quit anytime I want!
Most surprising fact about yourself:
I have virtually no sense of smell.
If not a computer geek, I would have been a:
Psychologist. I like jobs where you get to listen to people's probelms, tell them what you think is wrong and suggest a way to fix it!
